It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Jean Tensi, who passed away last Saturday in his 77th year. On behalf of his family, we share this sad news with our entire community.

Jean Tensi, an ENSMA engineer, was very active in Poitou and national aerodynamics. President of the Poitou regional group of 3AF, he was instrumental in the relocation and installation of ENSMA's large-scale wind tunnels on the Futuroscope site, created the "EOLIA" educational wind tunnel(https://www.3af.fr/fr/news/un-nouveau-souffle-pourolia-e-1769), and created and developed the exceptional "AEROTOP" events of 2008 and 2012.

He was also the author of the superb film "Cathedrals for the Wind", and co-supervised several theses supported by Dassault and Airbus in particular.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday February 18th at the Poitiers crematorium at 4:30pm.
