Webinaire SCU 2023 - The Sigma 2 Commission: A Collaborative Approach to Investigating UAP

The SIGMA 2 Commission is a technical Commission of the French 3af dedicated to investigating and analyzing reports of UAPs using a multi-disciplinary methodology. Its team of experts includes professionals in aviation, engineering, physics, air defense, IR and radar detection, ball lightning, propulsion, and psychology. This approach enables the commission to study UAP phenomena from various angles and identify potential explanations through scientific investigations. The SIGMA2 mandate is built around 5 main tasks: database and files research with international survey, UAP database inventory, UAP cases study and UAP physics observation. The presentation will provide an overview of the commission's methodology for analyzing sightings and the types of cases it has investigated. Additionally, we will discuss the commission's collaborations with other organizations, both domestically and internationally, including the CEFAA in Chile, the NARCAP in the US, and the SCU in the US.
