Aerodynamic Simulation for Light Aviation
Organised by "Ile-de-France"
Shared Conferences 3AF & CRA Ile-de-France
THURSDAY MARCH 23, 6.30-8pm VISIOPHONY via ZOOM
The Ile-de-France Regional Aeronautical Committee (CRAIF) and the Ile-de-France Group of the French Aeronautical and Astronautical Association (3AF) are pleased to invite you to a conference on AERODYNAMICSIMULATIONFOR LIGHTAVIATION.
The talk will be given by Alexis Lapouille, President and CFD Manager of Aero Concept Engineering.
Summary : First introduced in 1984, numerical flow simulation (CFD) has now found its way into many industries. While commercial aviation was quick to integrate CFD into its design processes, light aviation has yet to take the plunge. Why is this? What tools are available? What are their advantages and disadvantages? How can CFD be brought into the world of light aviation, in design and training?
A conference organized in partnership with 3AF's "Light Aviation and Derivative Machines" commission.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED on the 3AF website. Please note that the registration process will be closed as soon as the maximum number of participants has been reached . To enable as many people as possible to take part, don't hesitate to relay the videoconference to your flying club's clubhouse via a PC and video projector!
Requests for presentation material should be sent between Thursday March 23 8pm and Saturday March 25 inclusive to 3af.idf@orange.fr. No requests will be accepted later than Thursday March 23 or later than Sunday March 26.
