The Ile-de-France group of the Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France (3AF), in partnership with the "Centre" group of 3AF and the Groupement des Ingénieurs et Cadres Supérieurs de l'Aviation Civile (GIACRE), invites you to a conference on the theme OF ENERGYAT THE PUSH.

This conference will also be accessible in person for those who can make it to the IAE d'Aix-en-Provence located chemin De La Quille - Puyricard - 13089 AIX EN PROVENCE. The reception will start at 6:15pm (amphi Estérel ground floor, see https://iae-aix.univ-amu.fr/en/acces ).

This conference will be presented by Bernard Certain, test engineer, research & development expert, ex-Airbus Helicopters - Marignane.

Abstract - The aim of the conference will be to compare the two main sources of energy currently available: fuels, whether or not derived from fossil fuels, and electric accumulators. Power and thrust will be discussed for different scale factors. Aeronautical examples taken from concrete cases will be provided.

VISIOPHONY REGISTRATION REQUIRED on the 3AF website. Please note that the registration process will be closed as soon as the maximum number of participants has been reached, and no later than 48 hours before the conference date. To enable as many people as possible to take part, don't hesitate to relay the videoconference to a shared room using a PC and video projector!

Requests for presentation material should be sent between Tuesday February 14th 8pm and Saturday February 18th inclusive to 3af.idf@orange.fr. No requests will be accepted after Tuesday February 14 or Sunday February 19.
