Ile-de-France Group Conferences

The Ile-de-France group of the Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France (3AF), in partnership with the "Centre" group of 3AF and the Groupement des Ingénieurs et Cadres Supérieurs de l'Aviation Civile (GIACRE), invites you to a conference entitled "L'INSTITUT AÉROTECHNIQUE DE SAINT-CYR-L'ÉCOLE".
This conference will be presented by Clodoald ROBERT, Director of the Institut AéroTechnique and member of the Aerodynamics Technical Commission.
Summary The Institut AéroTechnique (IAT) at Saint-Cyr-L'École is a public test center attached to the Paris Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers and its Research Division. Founded in 1909 thanks to a donation from Henry Deutsch de la Meurthe, the institute was responsible for many advances in the early days of aviation, and later in the military (aircraft, missiles, drones, etc.), transport (cars, railways, etc.) and top-level sports (Formula 1, cycling, sailing, etc.).
The conference is free and open to all, but registration is MANDATORY to receive links to the videoconference (ZOOM). The waiting room will be open from 6 p.m. to allow everyone to connect.
