Presentation

Fields of activity :

Space transportation covers the products and techniques used to transport objects (satellites, exploration probes, equipment, etc.) or people (astronauts, etc.) from the ground (Earth or another celestial body) to "space", or in space, between two orbits.or tourists), from the ground (of the earth or another celestial body) to "space", or in space, between 2 orbits, whether around the same celestial body or not!

The commission will cover all types of launcher (from 'nanos' to heavy launchers, not forgetting new entrants and sub-orbital flight), as well as technologies and vehicles linked to in-orbit or interplanetary missions (space tugs, solar sails, in situ resource utilization technologies (ISRU), etc.)....).

Conferences, theme days and focus groups will be set up to share up-to-date information with the community, and to draw up summaries or documents for orientation and awareness-raising.

Certain themes and focus groups may cut across several commissions.

Being part of the commission will enable you to participate, during our regular meetings, in defining the themes to be tackled as a priority, so join us!
