Minutes of the Annual General Meeting 2024

On June 26, 2024, the Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France held its Annual General Meeting in the large Salle des Fêtes at Paris's 15th arrondissement town hall.

Here are the key points of the meeting.

The Bureau of this Assembly is composed as follows: Chairman: Louis LE PORTZ, General Secretary: Jean-François COUTRIS, Treasurer: Bertrand PETOT, Assessors: Hervé AUSTRUY and Patrick GILLIERON.

Louis LE PORTZ, President of 3AF, opened the Annual General Meeting, recalling the main achievements of the past year and the challenges ahead for the association.

Member participation was significantly higher than in 2023. Indeed, 155 of our members had cast their vote online before the meeting (compared with 103 in 2023), and 39 members with voting rights were present or represented by proxy at the meeting, bringing the total number of voters to 194.

Jean-François COUTRIS presented the annual report for 2023. This was followed by contributions from Bertrand PETOT, Michel ASSOULINE, and the statutory auditor represented by Florent GESBERT, chartered accountant and partner at Cabinet Praxor. Together, these presentations provided a comprehensive perspective on the association's activities over the past year, as well as on future directions.

All 5 proposed resolutions were adopted with a clear majority of votes, testifying to the commitment and consensus of members on the future direction of our association.

In addition to the adoption of the moral and financial reports, the highlights of the meeting were the approval of specific elements of the membership fee scale. The detailed minutes of the AGM can be consulted on the Association's website.

The Annual General Meeting closed with the presentation of the 3AF 2024 Awards, presided over by Hervé AUSTRUY, Chairman of the 3AF Awards Committee.
