Success of the Space Propulsion Conference 2024 in Glasgow UK

From May 20 to 24, 2024, 700 international space propulsion experts gathered in Glasgow, Scotland, to attend the 9th Space Propulsion Conference, organized by 3AF.

On the agenda for of this GO-TO conference:

• Round-table discussions with European agencies and industry representatives
• Keynotes by special guests - including ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti
• More than 350 selected technical papers presented by researchers and industrials
• An exhibition showcasing the activities of some thirty manufacturers
• Numerous networking opportunities to encourage exchanges and meetings between participants.

This year's event saw record attendance, with a strong representation of the younger generation, thanks in particular to winning initiatives such as the "Start-up Pitch Contest" and the "PhD Awards".

3AF would like to thank all the participants for attending, as well as the partners who made this edition possible: ESA, ArianeGroup, UKSA, Nammo Space, DLR, CNES, TASA... and the many exhibiting companies. The active support of the City of Glasgow and Visit Britain is also to be commended.
