Our organization:

The Groupe Régional Aquitaine is organized around a president and a bureau, which meets monthly to define orientations and actions to be undertaken.

How we work:

• The life of our Regional Group, of which members are informed by e-mail and through the publication of a regional newsletter, l'Aquitain;
• Conferences and study days, aimed at a wider audience, to review the state of the art and provide an overview of a given theme;
• Regular regional events (conferences, plant tours, etc.).

Our targets :

• Engineers, managers and technicians from prime contractors, equipment manufacturers and subcontractors in the aerospace sector, as well as companies in the same sector and their managers;
• Schools and universities and their students interested in the aerospace industry and the different professions it offers, whether technical or not, and more generally all those with a passion for aeronautics and space.

Our ambition:

• Promote 3AF in the region covered by GR Aquitaine (departments 24, 33 and 47);
• Relay 3AF's activities, particularly to companies and institutions, aerospace professionals and students;
• Design, directly or in partnership with other organizations such as BAAS, Rectorat, Cap Sciences, etc., regional events in the form of presentations, exhibitions, etc.

Our areas of action:

• Representing 3AF and animating the network of members locally;
• Promote 3AF regionally to institutions, companies, research centers, schools and universities;
• Facilitating and promoting the work of "Ingénieurs Pour l'Ecole" (Engineers for Schools), who work in secondary schools, with the support of the local education authority;
• Recruit new members and promote aerospace careers to students;
• Support our 3AF Youth Committee in its projects;
• Develop cooperation with regional bodies and organizations.
