Space exploration is once again a hot topic, with plans for lunar bases, distant probes and voyages to Mars. And nuclear power for space exploration is once again a hot topic. The USA, Russia and now China have all embarked on the development of new space nuclear systems for power generation and space propulsion, some of which are aiming for a demonstration in orbit or on the surface of the moon within the next ten years.

Intéressant !..... Même si, à l'heure actuelle, il est plutôt question d'exploration spatiale lunaire (autour de la lune, ...). Pour Artemis II, voire III, et la Lunar Gateway, les technologies nucléaires sont proscrites. Ce colloque, à mon avis, est prospectif, et fera, notamment, un état des technologies dans le monde.
