Artists' Day 2024

ARTISTS' DAY AT CHAVENAY AIRFIELD (78)

The Septième Ciel flying club, with the Association des Usagers De l'Aérodrome de Chavenay et de son Environnement (AUDACE), is organizing an Artists' Day on Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 10am to 6pm.

The event will feature over 25 artists, mainly painters including Lucio Perinotto, the official guest painter of l'Air et de l'Espace, as well as sculptors and photographers, in an area of over 1,000 m2.

Aeronautical authors will be signing their books, the "Horizons Artificiels" association will be offering flight simulator demonstrations , and the Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France (3AF) , represented by the Ile-de-France group and the "Aviation Légère et Machines Dérivés" commission, will be on hand to present the association and provide information on careers in aeronautics and space. Aerobatic aircraft and vintage cars will be on display.

Location: Chavenay-Villepreux airfield, rue de Villepreux, 78450 Chavenay.

Access by road: from the Paris west ring road, take the Rouen A13 exit, then the Versailles / Marly le Roi exit. Continue on the RN 186 (towards Versailles), then the RD 307 (towards Noisy le Roi) and finally the RD 74 (towards Chavenay), then rue des Clayes.

Access by train: from Paris-Montparnasse, get off at Villepreux-Les Clayes, take the side road to the west, then head north up avenue de Chavenay (30 minutes from the station).
